Mat brings over thirty years of experience working on Porsche street and track cars to the table. He started out working for a Porsche shop in the bay area at age 15, then after moving to Truckee in 1979 worked for a prominent Porsche shop here in Reno for the next twenty-seven years. He joined us as a full partner a few months after we changed the name to Reno Rennsport in March 2009. If you have a specific question about your Porsche we guarantee Mat has the answer.

Ryan came to us in July 2009 after working for a number of different Porsche/BMW shops in the Reno area. He is a graduate of the University of Northwestern Ohio with an associate's degree in High Performance Automotive Technology. Ryan is our service manager and will most likely be the person you talk to when you first stop in, or call the shop.

John grew up in the Reno area and started his Porsche/BMW career working for
Bob's Motor Works in 2007. He is our head BMW tech and our top go-to guy for the real head scratchers and one off jobs.

Brian Lowder and Leslie Castle purchased Bob's Motor Works from Bob Pieters in February 2009, after Bob had operated it as a BMW only shop at the same location for over 29 years. Brian worked for numerous shops in the Seattle area starting in 1981, but most recently served as crew chief for different Porsche club teams, as well as working for the ALMS/IMSA Cantrell Motorsports, Gruppe Orange racing team based out Kirkland WA. Leslie heads up the office, makes sure all the bills are paid on time, and is the overall Queen Bee/Den Mother around the shop.
